Bali Orphanage Project
AIM
To help to support the Balinese church ministery on Bali, through providing support.
PROJECT
To provide much needed funds to help the Orphanages in Bali run by the church. Please note that Orphanages in Bali are linked to the schools in Bali and many children go due to their parent being too poor to support them not only because they have no parents.

Letters from Bali
Warmest greeting from Bali Island
Herewith I am very happy to inform you that Bali condition has been much improving and getting much better. We were in Bali and Indonesia have had good time and in peace celebrating Christmas day. There was not any violence's or bombs. All things were done well and peacefully during Christmas. We thanks God for His blessing.
Herewith I would like to share my family's happiness. I believe that you always pray for my wife and baby girl. They both have been getting well. My baby was born in law weight. It was very small only 2,3 Kg. Now she is almost 3 Kg. Now she can cry loudly.
Thank you very much for your prayers.
Our Island Bali is also getting much better. Some tourists begin coming again to Bali. Please keep praying for Bali peace.

Warmest greeting from Bali Island
The first of all and on be half of our children. I wish you A merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you all more abundantly in the coming year.
I have just finished my last trip around of this year to see all our children and staff. I am very happy to see all of our children are happy to get their Christmas gifts and they celebrated their Christmas trees in their rooms with many colorful papers, leaves, and flowers.
They keep their rooms clean even they do the cleanest competition among them during this year.
Now we have raining season in Bali, the rain fall very hard with storm, lightning and thunder sometimes.
I was sad to see the boys' room in Widhya Asih Orphanage V in Melaya (Wes Bali). The buildings were too old. They were leaking. So the boys in those rooms were not as happy as other rooms or houses, because their Christmas decorations were damaged by the water of the leaking roofs.

An example of one of the orphanages

15/12/02
Dear Rob,
.... I was talking to Nyoman Suwitra when I was in Bali last week. He is the head of the orphanage system.....They are also working in East Bali amongst very poor villages and setting up clinics and similar there for them.
..... I know that one of the wells went dry at the Melaya orphanage the week of the explosions. By the grace of God, and unknown to us, a generous parishioner provided money to the orphanages, more than enough to dig a new well. But these are the sorts of things that happen! You might like to relay to anyone asking that several children orphaned by the bomb blasts have entered the Balinese Protestant system. They need special prayers as they cope with their grief and also settle into new environments.
Yours in Christ

Warm greetings from Widhya Asih Orphanage
Now we are preparing the proposal of library building and its facilities with our expert. Our architect, Mr. Made Matius, ST came to West Bali to the location (Widhya Asih V Melaya) last Saturday 30 November 2002. Today we have talked to him about the building. He suggested us to build two floors building.
The children's rooms will be on the first floor, the library and children's activities room and class room on the second floor.
thank you very much for your good cooperation.
Peace of God be upon you.

Yours in Him
