PLEASE NOTE
WARNING ABOUT BUYING SECOND HAND
Although we get the
occasional second hand projector come up - We try and encourage
people to consider new.
This is because new
machines that are over 2000 lumens
are from around $1100 up.
*** When you consider that
the globes are around $500
to $600; it means that buying
second hand may in the
long run cost you more.
*** Also, technology means that after 2-3 years most
machines have been surpassed by better
technology
and quality.
*** Also watch
out for groups selling 'old stock' We have
come across 3-4 year machines that are being sold
'as
new' although
they are just very obsolete stock.
*** Watch out for unknown brands - although you may
save $100 over a known name brand it could at the
cost of poor quality (Sanyo are made in Japan)
*** find out how many hours it has been used and
whether it is still the first bulb
