Citilife Toowoomba is a Christian Outreach Centre (COC) church. COC is
an Australian birthed, worldwide Pentecostal movement. The message we
share is simply, Jesus Christ in you, the hope of Glory. We share it
passionately and with a heart of compassion.
Citilife Church Toowoomba is a growing church with a K-12 school of
over 720 students. Citilife is an active church and provides
opportunities across the campus for people to serve and grow. The youth
group numbers over 120 teens and is currently led by a great leadership
team.
Due to growth, we are seeking a youth leader/pastor to build on the
momentum we already have. Depending on your skills and experience, this
could be a fulltime role.
Responsibilities include raising leaders, discipling young people, developing and implementing youth programs.
To be successful in this role you will require:
• A person with a commitment to the Christian faith and mission of
Citilife church. A passion to see young people become passionate
disciples of Christ.
• Willingness to undergo police check
• Current QLD Working with Children Blue Card
• Current Driver’s License
• Tertiary or other qualifications in Theology, Teaching, Social
work, Youth Work or Community Services or equivalent experience or a
willingness to undertake further training

SOAR Adventures Facilitator

SOAR Adventures is seeking an innovative, people focussed, passionate and self-led person who is passionate to be an effective change agent in the lives of at-risk young people and their families.
SOAR Adventures is an effective intervention and training program strategy that has a proven track record of professional operation and dynamic life transformation for its clients. As a SOAR Adventures Facilitator you will be part of a team dedicated to social justice and the dramatic transformation of young people and their families. The team is sold out to the cause and believes that people deserve to live a life full of purpose, hope and dignity.
As a key leader of the team you will facilitate a unique experiential adventure program, to groups of young people, consisting of adventure based learning sessions and a series of adventure camping experiences. These include adventure based learning, rock climbing and abseiling, extended hiking treks, rafting and associated activities. You will be required to develop a positive group culture, to then instruct and train young people in the areas of personal and team work skills, life fitness, practical intelligence,
personal competence and self-efficacy. This position is a key leadership role in SU Victoria’s SOAR Adventures.
Please address the following key selection criteria:
KSC 1 - Demonstrated evangelical / missional Christian faith.
KSC 2 - Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
KSC 3 - Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills including a capacity to develop constructive
relationships with students, parents, other staff, schools and the business community.
KSC 4 - Proven ability in program management and delegation to others within a team
environment.
KSC 5 – Hold a certificate or degree in outdoor education or education, or can demonstrate
equivalent industry experience.
KSC 6 - Can demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in outdoor education practice;
competent in group management and facilitation processes.
KSC 7 – Proven ability to build teams and multiple program capacity.

Church Warrnambool (www.coastcitychurch.com) is an
Assembly of God Church, Affiliated with Australian Christian Churches
in the beautiful regional city of Warrnambool and located on the
south-western coast of Victoria. It is situated on the Princes
Highway and is near the western end of the Great Ocean Road.
We are a young and vibrant friendly church that is growing and so there
is much happening and it is an exciting place to be. We are
committed to encouraging, strengthening and equipping God’s people in
this community and afar to fulfil their God given destiny, through
faithfully loving and serving the Living God with passion and integrity

Our Regular Services are:
Monthly outreach at the University on a Saturday Night with well known Christian bands and Guest Ministry.
Weekly Sunday services consist of a diverse age range and a
strong family culture. We have a small children’s church program
operating.
Our priorities over the next 5 years are:
1. Encourage reach and develop young adults both in the University
& our City into a community of emerging adults passionate and full
of potential that will impact our City through values reflecting
Biblical principles.
2. Spiritual growth through effective teaching.
3. To provide practical help, love and support to strengthen marriages and families to reflect a family united in Christ.

applicant should be a person who loves our Lord Jesus Christ and be
willing to use their gifts in helping to build young adults and
families with a heart for community and pastoral care along with a
commitment to team ministry. Such a person will be a committed
disciple of Jesus Christ with a proven servant-hood to the Gospel of
Salvation in Christ demonstrated through service to His Church.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Proven abilities of leadership and team building.
2. Tertiary / Theological training/or attending Bible College at present
3. Be able to provide names/telephone number of 3 referees who have supervised your ministry.
