The aim of Ministryblue is to provide free, cheap or innovative resources  for Australian Christian ministries and charities. Fund raising is through seeking discounts or free things from organisations that are then passed onto the wider Christian community or to charities.

Ministryblue.com was started by Rob Lamont in April 2001 as the covering organisation to a number of projects run by Rob. Ministryblue is also the expanded base that Christian Youth Resources, Australia  was responsible for but due to the dramatic growth we have chosen to make CYRA only responsible for Book sales.
(CYRA was started back in 1981.)
 

In 1999 Rob and Jenni fulfilled a dream that goes back to 1980 (When they purchased their first Blue Mountains Property - but were never able to finance the building of a campsite) - that is, to operate a Christian Campsite designed to take away small groups. 

After purchasing Trinity Cottage, Katoomba in early 1999 they sold their own home and bought Waratah Lodge, Katoomba in late 1999. Extra land to build on in 2001.

However, due to Blue Mountains Council policies Waratah Lodge closed in May 2004 and we choose to not build another site due to the limits that council has put in place

Rob Lamont started in full time youth work back in 1978. Since then he has worked for a number of Anglican Churches as a Youth Minister, the NSW Bible Society as Children's and Youth State Director. For Scripture UNion NSw as the State School Coordinator, lectured at numerous Bible Colleges and spoken at hundred's of Christian events. He is married to Jenni and has one married son Cheyne with two Grand children Zechariah Matthew Lamont and Gabrielle Audrey Lamont
 

Trinity was opened in 1961 by YHA and used as a hostel for many years. In 1999 Rob and Jenni Lamont bought it and refurbished it inside and out and reopened it as a 24 bed small groups centre specially designed for mid week and weekend camps. It is very close to  KCC, CMS and Skyway.

Due to the incredible demand we now offer holidays at $10 an adult - children for free

You may use the places mid week
(Sunday night to Thursday Morning) for a family retreats or even for one person just to pray. 

If you are after a Mission retreat or a church staff retreat midweek our rates are only $10 per person a night.
